Having a shy child at a children’s birthday party
When the kids enter the Madfun room they will be surrounded by light sound and activity and that can be a little bit overwhelming for shy kids when they first walk in. We pay special attention to ensure your children are comfortable and happy so we let them get involved in the party their own way.
If your child is shy it’s best to arrive 5 mins early or at least on time, so your child has few minutes to settle in before everyone joins in.
The big thing with shy kids is to let them become involved at their own pace and don’t push or try to make them join in. At Madfun Kids Discos we have free craft where your child can go off and make something and we also have free Face Painting (arm designs during Covid) included for every child so any shy kids can do lots of things without immediately going up on the dance floor.
Our party Hostesses are very sensitive to shy kids too and they have been taking care of kids for a long time so they will handle it so both you and your child can relax and have a good time.
Free Email Children’s Birthday Party Invitations included with Madfun Kids Party
We will email invitations to you, so all you have to do once you print them out is to write in your guest’s name.
Easy! If you’d like us to print them out for you it’s $10 for 15.
To make up your invitations we need the name and phone number of the parent or carer for the RSVP, the name and age of the birthday child and your email address. We’ll ask for all those details when you book. Always check the details are correct before printing and let us know if you need any changes made.
Childrens Birthday Party Food
You can bring in adult food or we can provide hot or cold platters for the parents.
Catering for adults at your childrens party
You don’t need to bring extra food because we serve plenty of food for the kids and we would never have them be hungry or thirsty. We do not charge for adults at your Madfun kids party. You are welcome to invite adult realtions up to the equal number of paying children
Managing allergies at your kids party
If your child has allergies then by all means bring something that you know they can eat. Give us a call first because with at least a weeks notice we may be able to do something for you, so you can relax and enjoy the birthday party as well.
Vegetarian birthday party food
Vegetarian alternatives are available, but remember to let us know in advance.
We can usually provide a table for parents so you are welcome to bring in something for the adults.
If you do, keep it simple as the parties are designed to be fun and easy for you as well as the kids, or we can provide hot & cold platters for adults.
Please note we cannot cook or reheat any hot food that you wish to bring in. Fruit platters are welcome but no fruit on skewers please.
