When we started running Madfun kids parties in Melbourne we had a lot of previous experience and we learnt early what kids love and what is not that important to them. For example we painted some of the kid’s faces at our daughter’s party once and we couldn’t believe how much of a thrill the kids got out of having their face painted – even though they couldn’t see their own face. It’s funny but true. After that we decided to have full time face painters at every party and make sure every child got their face painted (or the boys got a spider on their arm which is usually what they like)
